Pickup from Srinagar airport or railway station and transfer to hotel. After freshening up, visit Chashme Shahi (the Royal Spring Mughal garden), the Botanical Garden and Nishat Bagh. Dinner and overnight in Srinagar.

If time is short due to arrival and departure timings, this sightseeing moves to the last day.

Full-day excursion to Sonamarg, the "meadow of gold" at 9,000 ft. Visit Thajiwas Glacier (own cost; sledge rides available) and Kheer Bhavani Temple. Return to Srinagar for the night.

Drive to Pahalgam, the valley of shepherds on the Lidder River. Visit Betaab Valley (local sightseeing by pony at own cost) and the Awantipura ruins, with a stop at the saffron fields on the way. Return to Srinagar.

Day trip to Gulmarg, a flower meadow at 2,730 m with snow-capped peaks. Enjoy the Gondola Phase 1 ride, included in the package (weather permitting; ticket counter ~1 km walk from parking). Phase 2 is at own cost. Back in Srinagar, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight in Srinagar.

After breakfast, visit Shankaracharya Hill if time permits, then drop at Srinagar airport or railway station for your journey home.
