Nathula Pass is optional at extra cost (approx. ₹6,500–7,000 per car), needs an advance permit and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. If Tsomgo Lake is closed due to landslides, alternate sightseeing will be provided.

Early morning drive to Tiger Hill for sunrise over Kanchenjunga and the Himalayan range, visiting Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the way back. After breakfast, excursion to Mirik Lake among tea gardens and orange orchards (boating and pony rides at own cost) and Pashupati Market on the Nepal border. Overnight in Darjeeling.
