1. How to reach Leh from Bangalore
Fly from Bengaluru to Leh, usually with one stop in Delhi. Flights land in the morning, so you have the whole first day to rest. Our tours start with pickup at Leh airport.
2. Altitude and acclimatisation
- Leh is about 3,500 m (11,500 ft); Khardung La and Chang La passes are above 5,000 m.
- Rest completely on day 1. Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and do not climb stairs quickly.
- Guests with heart conditions, blood pressure, breathing problems or asthma should consult a doctor before booking.
- Walking 2 km a day for two months before travel makes a real difference.
- Our vehicles carry an oxygen cylinder for safety.

3. Best time to visit Ladakh
- May to September: roads to Nubra and Pangong are open and days are pleasant. The best season.
- June and July: the busiest months; book early.
- October to April: very cold and some roads close; only for experienced winter travellers.
